Jeffrey G. Pryor, 73, passed away December 8, 2015, at the Katherine Luther Health Care Center in Clinton.

He was born on August 28, 1942, in Utica, to the late Gerald and Catherine Coupe Pryor, and was a graduate of Whitesboro High School.

Jeffrey proudly served his country from 1961 until 1965 with the United States Air Force.

He loved his family and frequently enjoyed dining out at his favorite restaurant.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Robert Carlson, of Baldwinsville; his two brothers and sister-in-law, John and Irene Pryor, of KS, and David Pryor, of Sauquoit; and his 15 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Jeanne Malcolm.

Jeffrey's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 12, at 12:00 at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, 2222 Genesee St., Utica, with the services of committal and military honors being offered immediately following.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Clinton at the convenience of the family.

There will be no calling hours.

In Jeffrey's memory, please consider donations to the Valleycrest Unit at Lutheran Care at www.lutherancare.org/donate. Envelopes will also be available at the Funeral Mass.

His family would like to thank the staff at the Valleycrest Unit for the exceptional care Jeffrey received from them all during his stay there.

Arrangements are with the Smith Funeral Home, 3022 Oneida St., Sauquoit.
