Peter J. Waterman, of North Pole, Alaska, died October 17. 2005 in a hospice in Alaska after a brief illness. He was born in Utica on January 10, 1941, the son of the late Edwin and Helen Burns Waterman. He attended local schools. He served in the US Air Force for twenty years, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. For the last 30 years, he lived in Alaska, where he was employed by the Department of Corrections. In 1966, in Pemberton, NJ, he married Enith Tilley. She died in 1994. Mr. Waterman is survived by his stepdaughter, Charmine Tilley; and her two children, Justin and Dakota, all of Alaska; six sisters and four brothers.
