Georgina (Gina) Ferro Gaetano was a dedicated mother, sister and loyal friend who had an abiding interest in the underpriviledged. After graduation UCA, she attended SUNY Cortland receiving her BS degree in 1964. Gina continued her education and was awarded her MA in Public Administration from Syracuse University Maxwell School of Public Affairs. Throughout her entire professional career she worked with the less fortunate of society. Her last job was program coordinator for the Albany City Hostel, Inc., an organization which surpervised independent living for the disabled. Gina was married to Anthony Gaetano for many years and had one son, Gerald, a computer specialist who lives with his wife, Rianna, in Richmond, Virginia. Gina continued to be an avid reader throughout her life as well as an avid supporter of the Arts. Gina passed away on July 15, 1997. She is sorely missed by her family and friends.
